Dear Bestie,
You know what’s funny?
At first glance, if someone looked at our friendship from the outside, they’d probably see two women talking, laughing, texting, sharing coffee, or catching up on life.
However, what they wouldn’t see are the thousands of moments hidden inside our friendship.
- The moments that built it.
- The moments that strengthened it.
- The moments that made us who we are.
After all, friendship isn’t made from one big thing.
Instead, it’s made from a million little things.
And today, I just want to say thank you for every single one of them.
Thank You For The Moments Nobody Else Understands
You know the ones.
- The inside jokes that make absolutely no sense to anyone else.
- The stories we can’t tell in public because we’d never stop laughing long enough to finish them.
- The looks across the room that instantly communicate an entire conversation.
Then there are the memories that begin with:
“Remember when…”
And immediately send both of us into hysterics.
Honestly, some of our funniest moments weren’t even supposed to be funny.
Someone would say something completely serious.
We’d make eye contact.
And suddenly, we’d both be fighting for our lives trying not to laugh.
Unfortunately, the harder we tried not to laugh, the worse it got.
- The shoulder shaking.
- The tears.
- The inability to breathe.
Eventually, we’d reach that moment when you have to look away because if you make eye contact again, it’s over.
Completely over.
To this day, I still don’t know how we survived some of those moments.
But honestly, I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

Thank You For The Tears Too
Of course, friendship isn’t just built on laughter.
More importantly, it’s built on showing up when life hurts.
You’ve seen the tears nobody else saw.
- The heartbreaks.
- The disappointments.
- The fears.
- The moments when I felt completely lost.
- The moments when I wasn’t sure I’d ever be okay again.
- Yet somehow, you always knew exactly what I needed.
Sometimes it was advice.
Sometimes it was a hug.
Other times, it was simply sitting beside me and letting me cry without trying to fix anything.
Those moments mattered.
In fact, they mattered more than you’ll ever know.
Because when life felt heavy, you helped carry some of the weight.
For that reason, it’s a gift I will never take for granted.
Thank You For Loving The Real Me
- Not the polished version.
- Not the social media version.
- Not the “I’ve got everything together” version.
Instead, you loved the real version.
- The messy version.
- The overwhelmed version.
- The emotional version.
- The exhausted version.
- The weird version.
- The version that forgets things.
- The version that overthinks everything.
- The version that occasionally spirals because somebody used a period in a text message and now we’re wondering if they’re mad.
You know…
The real me.
And somehow, you still stick around.
Honestly, that’s impressive.
Thank You For The Encouragement
You have no idea how many times your words arrived exactly when I needed them.
- The random text.
- The unexpected compliment.
- The check-in.
- The reminder that I was stronger than I felt.
- The reminder that I wasn’t failing.
- The reminder that I mattered.
Sometimes, we think encouragement is small.
In reality, it’s anything but.
In fact, the words we almost don’t say often become the words someone remembers forever.
And friend, you’ve given me so many of those words.

The Older I Get, The More I Understand
Real friendship is rare.
Not because good people don’t exist.
Rather, it’s because life gets busy.
Schedules get crowded.
Responsibilities pile up.
People move.
Seasons change.
And yet, somehow, some friendships survive it all.
- The real ones stay.
- The real ones pick up where they left off.
- The real ones don’t require perfection.
Instead, they simply require love.
Thankfully, ours has plenty of that.
A Little Sass Before I Go…
Let’s be honest.
Every woman needs at least one friend who will:
✔ Tell her when she’s being too hard on herself.
✔ Help her hide a body… metaphorically, of course.
✔ Bring snacks during emotional emergencies.
✔ Remind her she’s beautiful after an ugly cry.
✔ Laugh at jokes that aren’t funny to anyone else.
✔ Answer the phone with, “Okay, what happened now?”
And somehow, still love her afterward.
That friend is a treasure.
And Bestie?
That’s you.
One Last Thing
Thank you.
- For the laughter.
- For the tears.
- For the late-night conversations.
- For the ridiculous stories.
- For the encouragement.
- For the memories.
- For every moment that only we understand.
At LV Creative Concepts, I often write about joy, self-care, and the importance of making time for the things that matter.
And one thing I know for sure is this:
A true friendship is one of life’s greatest gifts.
So, if you’re lucky enough to have a bestie who has laughed with you, cried with you, supported you, encouraged you, and loved you through every season…
Tell her.
Because someday, the moments you’re making right now will become the stories you’ll treasure forever.
And ultimately, those stories are priceless. 🩷
XOXO, ~Linda
